Adult Christian Study
Christian education is an important aspect in our growth as Christ’s Disciples. In addition to our strong youth programs, we offer a number of adult educational opportunities.
Adult Sunday School
On Sunday mornings, between our Traditional and Open Door worship services, you are invited to participate with others in our Adult Sunday School programs at 10:30 am. A broad range of studies is used.
Short-term classes
We offer short-term classes all through the year. Some recent subjects include Philippians, From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians, and This Holy Mystery, a study of the United Methodist Holy Communion. We have also held prayer studies during Lent and Advent Seasons.
Bible Study
The New Milford United Methodist Church has participated in the Disciple Bible Study Program. Disciple is a disciplined study group that involves daily readings and prayer. This study group runs from 30 to 34 weeks (September through June). Please contact the church office for more information on the next time we will offer this study.
