The season of Advent is a period of increased focus and intensity for Christians everywhere, including Methodists in New Milford.  There will be many special events and activities at our church during the four weeks of Advent. Some will be fun and festive. But we are also setting time aside for more prayer, study and reflection.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services:

5:30 p.m. Contemporary Service
7:30 & 9:30  p.m. Traditional Services

Communion will be offered at all Christmas Eve services.

Hanging of the Greens & Potluck Supper

Our annual Family Advent Festival will be held on Dec. 2 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. It will feature photos with Santa, ornament making, reindeer snack-making and more!

Christmas Pageant

Our Christmas Pageant will be held on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 11:15 am in the sanctuary.  All children in our church are welcomed and encouraged to take part in this wonderful remembrance of Christ’s birth; whether it’s taking a part in the play, singing in the choir, being a reader, to helping with the actual production. The Christmas Pageant promises to be a memorable experience for all those who participate.
